What's the difference between the NaTrue criteria and those of existing labels?

1. NaTrue offers a three-level label concept: natural cosmetics, natural cosmetics with an organic portion and organic cosmetics.
2. The award of the NaTrue Label is not for profit. The handling fee is used to maintain the necessary infrastructure and for PR purposes e.g. advertising the label.
3. In the case of NaTrue 100% of all ingredients (apart from water) are either "natural", "nature-identical" or "derived natural”. The use of other substances is not permitted.
4. The criteria and the lists of the approved substances are published in a transparent manner.
5. The laying down of minimum levels of natural and of maximum levels of derived natural raw materials, depends on the product group.
